“Stranger Things” casting director Carmen Cuba has always focused on finding unique actors for the show. “The original cast members are all real persons,” she remarked in an interview. Those youngsters don’t cross over into one other’s emotional and energetic areas. Adding more unique types was difficult, but I constantly return to the show’s writing, which helps in a variety of ways because it’s so powerful.

You know, this is crazy. I watched this series 4 times in a row, and I still have some parts saved and watch it sometimes, and even when I finished the series the first time, I really cried. This has not been the case so far. The comments show that many people are interested in this series. I thought about it a lot, it’s been 4 months.
